What is a Refurbished Item?
A refurbished item is an overstock, returned or slightly damaged item that is not suitable for sale as new. Rather than return these items to the manufacturer, we arrange for the items to be thoroughly inspected, cleaned and (if necessary) repaired, and offer them for sale on our refurbished sections of the website at significantly reduced prices. Our refurbished items are graded using the chart below...
GRADE A - A brand new unit never used. Generally these items will be those removed from a damaged box, built up and tested. The item is as new and has been fully assembled and tested in perfect working order.
GRADE B - A nearly new item which has some very minor scratches/signs of very limited use. The item has been fully assembled and tested in perfect working order.
GRADE C - A used refurbished item which has seen a limited to fair amount of use. The unit will show minor cosmetic damage (small scratches) as may be expected from an item which has been in occasional use. The item has been fully assembled and tested in perfect working order.
GRADE D - A used refurbished item which has clear signs of use with cosmetic damage (scratches) to the unit. Generally grade D units will have seen between 2 and 6 months worth of usage.
GRADE E - A used refurbished item which has some cosmetic damage to the unit and has a component missing but doesn't affect the working of the machine, this will be described in the listing below. Aside the missing component the machine has been tested and is in perfect working order.
GRADE F - A used refurbished item which has seen a fair amount of usage generally over 6 months. The unit will have numerous cosmetic marks and it will look clearly second hand. The machine has been tested and is in perfect working order.
