FAQ - Vibration Plates

Are these also commercial or just for home use?

These are designed to be used at home. Commercial Vibration plates are far more heavy duty and are ten times the price. Our machines are very strong and durable, however are not designed to be used 16 hours a day 7 days a week.

How strict is the maximum weight limit?

It is so important to stick within the maximum weight limit. This is set at a limit for a reason according to the materials used and strength of the machine. Most have high limits of 100KG and above but please always check before you buy as if used over the limit, you are putting excessive pressure on the machine and not using it in line with its designed requirements.

Will this help me lose weight?

Used in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle and diet, vibration plates can be very effective indeed. They can work the whole of your body and are great for toning muscles too.

Are they easy to assemble?

Yes. They come with full instructions and the main body is already made so you simply need to add on the upright parts and computer. This should take no more than 30 minutes even on the most complex machine.

Are these noisy to use?

No more than any other vibration plates. As with any machine with a motor inside, there will be an element of noise from the moving parts, however in relation to other plates, the noise level to our machines is below average to normal.

How accurate are the computer readings?

The readings on the computer will be worked out from average calibrations of the manufacturers. The only variation of this will be a pulse reading but the accuracy of this will depend on the quality of contact onto the pulse receptors and also the circulation of the user. Everyone is different and some people’s pulses are easier to pick up on than others.

I’ve heard people mention vibration and oscillation- is one more effective than the other?

It is difficult to say. The results are similar and both are very effective so we do not feel you have an advantage using one type over another.

Does the motor wattage make much difference?

The wattage of the motor indicates the strength of the machine and is a good point of comparison. The higher the wattage, the strong the motor in general and therefore the stronger the machine and more effective.

Do these come with an exercise manual?

Not all of them. Some of our machines come with some basic exercises to try but there is such a huge range of exercises you can do, we recommend looking online for the latest ones.
